Centralian Records Management was established by Drury Pyper in 1998. Dru had just left the removals and storage industry after 35 years and recognised the need for specialist records storage in Central Australia.
In 2001, Drury’s son John joined the company and helped develop the destruction side of the business.
The business grew considerably over the next 14 years at which point John bought CRM in 2015. CRM had primarily specialised in physical confidential document storage and destruction but with the industry, changing rapidly CRM needed to diversify to be able to continue to provide the high level of customer service the company had been built on.
After searching the globe for the best possible digital solution, CRM implemented the Complete Information Management System (CIMS), which was designed and developed by Australian company Compu-stor. As well as being the best possible system with all information securely stored in Australia, Compu-stor was also like CRM an Australian owned and operated business, which is rare in the industry.
CRM is now the largest local and Australian owned secure records storage business in the Northern Territory and has the enviable reputation of being able to provide unparalleled service to all its clients including the NT Government. CRM now provide complete digital and physical information management services from digital office solutions to physical archive storage and document destruction.
